Yesterday I received a beautifully-written letter from a man in California. Based on my Complete Idiot's Guide to Shakespeare, he inquired if I would be interested in completing his late wife's scholarship on Timon of Athens. A Shakespearean scholar and professor, Fulbright scholar, and Phi Beta Kapp from UCLA, she has left 8 boxes of notes. He is willing to ship them anywhere at his own cost. Timon of Athens is not my play (Hamlet is), so is anyone interested? The raw material sounds first-rate.
